The Marine Ices residential development comprises 19 luxury apartments, with 1 to 3 bedrooms. Taking its name from the family-run Italian restaurant and ice cream business that occupied the site for over 80 years, the new development had a lot of history to live up to. The ice cream parlour moved 300 metres down the road in 2014 leaving the site ready for redevelopment.
Given the iconic location and historic legacy of the site, it was important to bring the local culture, community and creativity to life for prospective buyers. To this end, an illustrated interactive map and a local area photographic gallery were produced.
To give buyers a real insight into the fabric of the building, and to fully understand the various configurations available, Lucid Environments created a detailed 3D model that allowed users to split the building apart into separate floors and then search for apartments that matched their specific requirements. Filter criteria included: number of bedrooms, the presence of a balcony, price and availability status.
